Ask and ye shall receive...it's the most wonderful time of the year! Just when you thought the heat and humidity would never end...it does! I am sitting in the apartment with the windows open enjoying the high 60's and 11% humidity as I write to you. The nights are cool and clear and the days are warm (still hitting mid-90s) but the humidity is back below 20% and it couldn't be more welcome. Now is the time of year when watching the weather is fun...(here it's fun, I mean watching the cold fronts and snowstorms the rest of the country is living through).
The real reason I am writing today is that October is a very special month. It is the anniversary of Sheryl and Craig (yesterday...Happy Anniversary, you two!), and it is the birthday month of my two beautiful nieces. In fact, today is Vee's birthday and I want to wish her love and happiness today and every day. She is always in my heart and always on my mind and I love her dearly. Later this month is my Godchild's birthday and then the birthday of one of my dearest friends, Loretta... But today is Vee's day and you other guys will get your turn later this month.
Sheba (aka Mrs. Wafflepuss) who is my cat is alive and well and turned 1 year old over the summer. She is a constant source of entertainment and makes me laugh with her antics almost every day. I am REALLY looking forward to Aruba this year. I haven't had any significant time off from working in a long time and I am really needing some beach time.That will happen at the end of November. Looking forward to spending some time with my New York peeps as well down there. In the meantime, my cousin Amelia will be visiting in late October. Her daughter and husband are relocating from Florida to Tucson so I hope to see them when they are here.
